With a strong commitment to preparing our students and teachers for the future, LTTC plays an active role in developing and implementing the University’s Learning and Teaching Plan, as well as the E-Learning and Digital Competency Strategy. Through our regular workshops, we cover a wide range of emerging topics such as virtual learning and teaching strategies, AI literacy, AI-powered assessment, coding and STEM education, among others. These workshops provide students and teachers with the opportunity to enhance their digital competence and excel in the ever-evolving landscape of technology.

In our pursuit of establishing extensive networks of innovative educators both locally and globally, LTTC has organized various events and initiatives, such as Learning and Teaching @EdUHK Festival, International Conference on Learning and Teaching 2020 and 2021, and International Conference on Learning and Teaching for Future Readiness 2023. These initiatives can foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, and professional growth among educators worldwide, providing a platform to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another about the best practices of learning and teaching.

Economically disadvantaged children often receive less exposure, education resources, support and opportunities. Our education system is not designed to enable all children to realize their potential.

While there is no single solution to education inequity, it starts with a community of leaders. They take children’s perspective, understand real challenges, and commit to changing the system.

We first find the most promising young leaders to teach in underprivileged schools in our year-long Fellowship Program. From day one, they help students grow and broaden their exposure. This transformative classroom experience, coupled with our developmental support, empowers these future leaders to create long-lasting changes for education equity across sectors.

Our students’ learning motivation increased, 21st century skills strengthened and needs attended because of our Fellows’ innovative pedagogy, right grasp of education issue and dedication to individual growth. Our students also have opportunities previously inaccessible to explore their passions, career interests, and personal goals through participating in activities created by our Fellows.

Our partner schools benefit from the high-calibre talents who would not enter the schools otherwise. They bring fresh perspectives and drive changes within the school system. Our Alumni work in all sectors, lobbying changes, pioneering solutions, and influencing cultures to remove systemic barriers to education equity.
