The school "Les Petits Lascars" was created in 2006 by Christian and Dominique Chasset at the request of French parents in Hong Kong. The couple, who are both qualified and decorated French teachers, have been living in Hong Kong for 37 years. The Chassets also founded the well-known language school, the "Hong Kong Institute of Languages" which is located in Central.

The education team, led by a certified principal of the French Education System (AEFE), is comprised of qualified and experienced teachers and staff.


Our daughter, Amy, initially speaking only Chinese, her mother tongue, has been enrolled in the Petits Lascars in bilingual streams since the second semester of TPS. Thanks to the professional teachers and small group classes, she quickly integrated into the French and English environment of the school. As we wished, thanks to the quality of its academic programme, she was admitted to the Lycée Français International in CP class. We are very happy with the school.

I highly recommend Les Petits Lascars at Central. Our two daughters (5 and 2 years old) immediately felt happy in the school. They are in a caring environment, with attentive and inspiring teachers. The school has small classes which allows for good interaction with the teaching team. The recent school renovation is the little extra that makes the school even more attractive.
